I posted this in Buy/Sell/Trade not remembering there's a "Hookups" forum. Sorry!
Anyway, here's the message:
I've got a mess of recording gear that's going to be homeless real soon (mid July) as I'm moving down to Hoboken, NJ. What I'm looking to do is 'relocate' it to a local studio in exchange for a SMALL amount of time (like a total of one month per year). I'm not looking to 'partner up' with anyone, disrupt business, rent, anything. You get all this to use as often as you'd like:
Recorders:
Roland 2480CD
Digidesign MBox
Nagra III mono 1/4" open reel
Monitors:
ProAc Studio 100s
MAudio BX5 active
Grado headphones

Bryston 4B

Blue Mouse

I get peace of mind that the stuff is in a good home, not getting abused, etc. and I can still visit it once in a while. I'd retain ownership of it, we'd work something out for the record (covering breakage, repairs, etc), but ultimately, I think it's a pretty sweet deal for someone out there.
Hope to hear from you - shoot me an email, please.
Cheers,
Dave

You'd might have better luck if you were looking for a real-deal partner or bandmate...
Not that it isn't a cool list of gear or anything...but I'd assume that most people have some stuff like that & don't need more of the same...or like me, they'd just want to cherry pick or have some kinda' formal business arrangement because of insurance & general liability.
There's LOTS of muso's in & around Hoboken/Weehawken/JC area...stick some flyers up & get out to the bars & clubs!
