One of my heroes. 61 is way too young. This is really sad.

I can't think of anyone from whom I've picked up so little about gear yet so much about the craft, than Steve Albini.

Truly sad. He was a wonderful guy and a great engineer. Loved reading stuff on his website and elsewhere. He will be sorely missed.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
