DFW roots
Im here. sort of.
Live in Los Angeles now, but back very often producing and recording in DFW. Specifically from Fort Worth. Worked @ First Street in FW. Echo Lab in Denton and Artisan in Dallas.
Was there two weeks ago in fact beginning new record with Darth Vato. Live in LA with my band Oliver Future, we are doing our new record with Adam Lasus -- actually was on the prodcuers panel at this year's tapeop con.
enough about me. hows that texas heat just about now?

groovy, that's a few blocks south of my folx.shakestheclown wrote:Not far from you man, Fielder and 303 here. You should try one of those filter pitcher thingies for your water. I haven't tasted tap water in years!
we've had a pair of Britta pitchers for years for cleaning up the water for making tea and boiling eggs or noodles.
i prefer getting the 2.5 gallon jugs of sprang wasser from CrustCo on Matlock for drinking, tho.
Arlington water has always tasted silty to me...at best.
heh, Texans talking about drinking water on TOMB.

i lived abroad in NZ in '97-'98 and it was a major shock coming back to Texas on a blistering September day (also a culture shock).jordanrockproducer wrote:dont miss that heat one bit. even though im back about once a month anyways, (including the summers)
all that funky back sweat you get during lonnnng international flights just evaporated the moment i walked out those sliding doors.
*cue sound of hissing steam*
i mean, it was warm and muggy at LAX, but it was SEARING outside when i got to DFW International.
