Help me find a space

Post by meblumen » Wed Aug 30, 2006 6:43 pm

So I live in Chicago and am getting sick and tired of setting up shop in tiny, crappy rehearsal spaces and basement apartments, I want a real space. I'm not looking to open a commercial studio but would like something where maybe my band can rehearse and record, I can do my own stuff and bring the occassional other project in as well. I have checked Craigslist and the Reader with little success. I want to eventually buy a place (like maybe a 2 flat and convert part of it to a studio) but that won't be happening terribly soon. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. I would prefer something on the North or West side, definitly not in the suburbs if that helps.
