Post by jamesm » Mon Jul 02, 2007 8:56 pm

I am looking for a potential studio partner. I don't even know if there's anyone from NH on this board. if there is, let me know.

business is OK. It's alright one minute and kind of shitty the next. It's fun though when it's good. What sort of a rig do you run?

BustedBarn, I just bought an msr-16 1/2" 16 track, and I've got some okay mics, a few drumsets, a piano, and access to a bunch of nice class A tube amps. my problem is i don't have a reliable space to record loud music in. everything around here seems to be going for at least $600 a month, which i can't afford on my own.

Moosapotamus, how's stuff in your neck of the woods?

Hey all...

I've got remodeling going on right now on my new space here in Boston.

I'm scheduled to move in November 1st.

Space is about 400 sq. ft. of studio space (with ceilings about 20'), plus a raised control room, plus storage. Located in Central Square, Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Middle East & TT the Bear's.

Looking for both potential partners & freelancers. Be in touch...

Pretty quiet. I have a home studio and do projects for friends, friends of friends, my band and myself. I've thought about finding a space to open a dedicated project studio, but rental costs always put me off, too. $600 per month isn't bad at all if you've got a partner and you can each bring in at least one gig every week. Not sure I'd know how to drum up that kind of business, tho.
