Oakland Beer Night! Whose In?

Post by Arturo » Sun Sep 16, 2007 11:26 am

Hi all you east bay audiophiles. I'm Arturo and I'm trying to put together an Oakland Beer Night. I'm thinking the Ruby Room located @ 132 14th St. Cool place, cold beer. Let me know what you think so I can choose a good night. Peace.

Also, I'm thinking of an alternated venue. Club Mallard @ 752 San Pablo Ave. in Albany would probably a better place to sit and talk comfortably.

I'm not getting any replies so it looks like I'm going to postpone beer night until next week so I can call some more of my friends out. Please let me know if anymore of you guys are interested. I know there is a bunch of you out there.

If SF peeps can show, I'd be real interested. I'm HONORARY Oakland at least, used to be out on 47th Ave in Fruitvale . . .

Thanks for getting this going.

I would love for people from all of the Bay Area to show. But I used to live in SF and I know that its a pain in the ass to cross over into the East Bay and then get back into the city and try to park. But if you SF guys don't mind then your welcome. I was planning on doing an SF Beer Night as well, but this will give me an idea of how many people to expect. Thanks for replying. And keep those replies coming. I want to see some Bay love. I know you Daily City "Digi" people are out there, as well as you "Seventh Circle Audio" people/person. How about all the guys at tiny telephone and flying tiger and broken radio, and is talking house in the house. Come on guys I want to hear from you, just to know that the music loving community in the Bay is still strong. Keep rockin' like Dokken.

If it's somewhere near Bart, that will help the SFers, and maybe your Bay Area attendance in general. One of the downtown stops (12th or 19th) would work fine . . . or there's downtown Berkeley . . . but it's up to you.

Thanks again for jump-starting this.

How does Jupiter on Shattuck sound? I think that's close to downtown Berkeley BART.

Jupiter is great for me if it works for other people. Or I can travel further.
