Philadelphia TOMB Beer Night

Post by Jeff White » Fri Aug 27, 2010 9:07 am

So we tried to do this in the spring and it didn't work out.

I am open once again and would love to have a beer night at my house in Port Richmond. I've been running a project studio out of my place for two years. Since so many of us are in the same boat it'll be cool to get together outside of a bar or commercial space and have a night of hanging, chatting, playing projects, and drinking some good booze.

Let's discuss this and figure out a night. Tuesdays are completely out for me since I have a steady gig right now mixing/mastering. Any other night of the week will work for the next month plus.

Also...I am going to talk to Brian McTear, owner of the seriously awesome Miner Street Studio in Fishtown and see if he is open to a hang down there in October/November. I'm working out of there part-time these days and it is a great space. Lots of my favorite records have emerged from his space in the last 10 years. It would be cool to have everyone down there as well.

But for now...my place...let's do this!

Mondays are out for me, but if we set a date I will try to keep it clear.

Jeff, I think you, me and Matt will just have to get another beer on our own again.

Thinking next week. Let me know schedules. We can do it over here or if someone else really wants to host at their place so be it.

I was, recently, for various reasons, forced to leave Philly for Shlong Island, but, I'm still back and forth a bit, so, if you do find a time to do it, I'd love to join you; my friends still live in our old house in West Phil. Keep us posted
