'Twas indeed Paul David Hager that did a goodly chunk of the tracking engineering. I know he put a lot of effort into getting the gear back out and fired up from the 1st VH era, trying to get the original tones and feel as much as possible. It being an LA thing with lots of different hands involved and varying intentions for the project, the final result is what it is.

Given the topic I felt compelled to share my little Japanese VH Greatest Hits vol 1 poster. Mainly a fan for a lot of the first six albums.
In any case,I was at a listening station checking out Frank Black's Teenager of the year in Shinjuku Japan when I saw a clerk taking this down to toss.
My Japanese got suddenly much better when I decided I needed to tell him, "Hey, I'll take that if you are just going to throw it away!":lol:
