hey, here's a little tune that also happens to be the first thing we've put out there publically that we recorded/mixed entirely by ourselves. feel free to enjoy it or pick the recording to pieces as you see fit :)

the mix is pretty good. the arpeggiated guitars are a bit high in the mix, as the hi-hat. the rest it?s pretty good, perhaps a bit lacking in low-end (at the start), but overall it?s very nice.

i like the song quite a bit, but i think the guitars sound a bit too "direct". i think the song would benefit immensely from a more atmospheric guitar sound (read a lot of the room sound and soaked in reverb....) but that's just personal preference.

good work.

This is definitely up my alley - but I think the arpeggio that plays really prominently throughout the song is distracting - I'd prefer to hear the chords in the back of the mix more upfront. The vocals are very similar to Lush, which is, as I said.. right up my alley. Overall, it's great.

ack. sorry that was my headphones being an idiot. :D I thought it was an instrumental! now I really like the song.

sounds like it could use some eq carving. that's a lot of snare tone. it's a really beautiful snare sound and full (what is it?) but maybe a little less on the low end? and then turned up?

I think the arpeggio is great. I know this might sound like a sin but I wonder how it would sound with out the chorus/pan effect on it? There's some low mid clashing thing with the arp and the voice.

I wouldn't add any roomy sounds to the rhythm guitar. In fact just the opposite. turn it up and remove and room sounds. there's plenty of atmosphere going on elsewhere.

I love this song. I'm such a dreampop weenie.
