my friend, Evil, is selling his UA desk from United Western. Bill Putnam designed this desk. he lays out it's history. good luck cleaning all of the coke and vodka out of that thing.

I saw this on GS this a.m.

The guy said he'd take any solid offers over 30K.

I'd love to groupbuy it and part it out. I mean, it would be nice historically to keep it in one piece but I don't see anyone at UA clamoring to buy it.

BTW I got 1984 for my 13th birthday and it's a great record and all but give me some pliers and a screwdriver. I'll just snag a couple of 1108s and 990s and be on my way.

Why on earth did EVH get rid of it in the first place?

I'm not so sure it's worth $30K when parted out in a 'group buy' scenario. I've not seen single modules of any of those types hit those relative marks with any frequency, if at all. Disregard what BA is charging for his re-racks; serious mark-up there.
