I want a PM1000 and have a PM2000 for dealin' with

Post by hyde maintenance » Mon Jun 16, 2008 10:22 am

I have been looking for a PM1000 for quite a while now. I've picked up a PM2000, but am finding it too big for my needs.
Does anyone out there have a complete 16 ch PM1000 they want to sell. (It sorta sucks that all of them are getting parted out.)
The PM2000 is available for some horse trading if a larger console is enticing to anyone in around Toronto.
PM me.

There's a 16 channel on the L.A. craigslist.

Yes, this is my first post.
No, that's not my console for sale.

Well i have a 32 channel Soundtracs i mix on and for the kind of work i do 16 channels just cant get it done, and i needed some good mic pres so, now i have a ten channel sidecar. and the other 6 modules found homes with other members of this very board.

What would you want for one of those pm2ooos? he said, as if he had the means to get one.

I have a whole SHIT TON of parts for a 1k tho. Tonnes of input trannies, VUs, the rosewood case.... In case that tickles your fancy...

Oh and did i mention the 16 channel pm1k is the size and weight of a World War 2 Era aircraft carrier? And makes no sense whatsoever if your not using it as a mixer, and have to slide it up against ANOTHER mixer?

Seriously, the only reason they called it portable is cause it had handles.

i just hacked up a pm1k in montreal less than a month ago!! what bad timing...i hated to do it (a single tear fell as i started to rip it apart) but the chassis alone weighs nearly as much as my 400b! still have the chassis and some other parts if you are interested...

Hey runrunrun. How chopped up and how many bits? Sounds like it's probably more that just yanking channels.
I'm gonna be in Montreal at the end of the month though.
Uh...you're not Jesse are you?

I knew I should have taken a picture of my PM1K carcass sitting on the curb waiting to be picked up with the trash...
