FS: NYC Vintage British mixing board. 20ch transformer input

Post by leeboy » Sun Jun 22, 2008 12:38 pm

I'm making space in my studio so....

I am selling a vintage Kelsey DMI 20 ch mixing board & very high quality power supply. This is a FOH board from the mid 70s and was used by bands like T Rex, Roxy Music, Soft Machine, Genesis etc The original cost was $8k which is about the same as a Neotek cost at the time.

All discrete electronics, fully modular design, transformers on every input, direct outs, 8 groups, sennheiser talk back mic.

Needs lots of work but could make a really interesting recording board or you could part it out and rack up the channels very easily.

I can demo this in my studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

I'd like to get $350 but feel free to make me an offer.

Please email me for specs, more details and pics: tim [at] boyscoutrecordings [dot] com
