MOTU HD192 Core System - $1100 - LOWER PRICE!

Post by mpedrummer » Tue Feb 17, 2009 4:00 pm

Hi guys!

Selling my MOTU HD192 Core system - I got a 24io Core (so I have a spare 424) and now I just have way too much io!

It's in excellent shape, no issues. I have the original box (but not the decorative sleeve) so it'll be shipped safely. Local pickup in Pittsburgh is welcome.

Still in the Rack:

Just a touch of rack rash on the ears, but it'll be hidden under the screws. I can include 4 rack screws with this, no problem. I had it in my smoke-free studio, mounted using rubber grommets, so there's very little wear.

Thanks for looking!

Tim

Oh, and for another $50, I'll throw in 2 DB25-XLR(M)

No use for them now that I have all TRS inputs!

Bumpity bump!

I'll sell just the breakout (with the cable and power cable) for $1000.

How would you compare the sound to the MOTU 24 IO?

They're definitely better - teh 24io is a step down for me in that regard, but frankly, the converters weren't the weak point in my signal path!

The HD192 converters are a bit more airy than the 24io - the highs on the 24io seem a little more muffled.

Lowered the price to $1100 for the core system (the HD192, the PCI card, the cables) plus I'll throw in the two DB25 to XLRm breakout cables for free!

Thanks for looking
