WTB Truth Audio TA-1P or TA-1A
So Tony here has screwed me over and fueled my monitor lust by telling me more about his monitors, and now that I've heard them versus my buddy's Adam A7s I really want the Truths.
That being said, I'd be surprised if anyone is getting rid of these, but if anyone is or knows anyone who is, I'm quite interested in picking up a pair.

Is Truth Audio still in business? I am really interested in a pair of Truth TA-1Ps for 2010.

Unfortunately they appear to be a defunct company. It's a real shame because they sound amazing. I found a pair for sale this summer from someone on GS, but that was blind stupid luck...

They are great monitors, I have a 5.1 setup with TA1P's and a Mackie Sub. Using a Bryston for Amplification, it sounds fantastic. It was indeed a little challenging to come up with the set, I had a pair that I bought when they first came out, and then had to piece together the other 3. I found a guy in Germany who had one, and then a pair from a guy in Burbank. Anyway, it was worth it. I just hope I never have to find more. My advice is to be persistent and try calling around. I recommend the passive ones over the powered ones, from what I understand there were issues with the amps overheating. Good luck!!
