Tube Reverb tank FOR SALE- needs fixin'

Post by bradb » Sat Jan 21, 2006 5:54 pm

I bought this thing broken here on tape-op awhile ago, spent a day diagnosing it and then never touched it again. Too many other projects and I realized I don't really have a need for it.

Email me with questions. Looks like its been recapped with Sprague Atoms. Take a look at the pics. I'll sell it for what I bought it for, $20 + shipping.

As projects have come and gone, with more on the horizon, it sits by my bench neglected... I figured someone with more need for it will get it going.

huh, where are you located? I'd take the $20 plunge on that thing - does it power up at all? Or is it an issue with the spring?

fix the gates first... your workbench is going to be overflowing...

yeah... the gates. there sure is some weird shit going on in those! One of them has a completely burned up power supply, yet it still runs and nothing seems out of the ordinary. The other one is just plain stubborn - bypassing the input pot gave it some signs of life, but still no output. Luckily, my arms and back have recovered from lugging them home on the J train - man, that was a pain in the balls!

for $20, the reverb seems like a nice project - the workbench is always going to have 5 projects on it simultaneously - don't worry about me - I get things done in time. If the deal falls through, give me a shout.
