i'm trying to set up an affordable but good at home studio from scratch. looking for a good deal to start recording, for instance, something like a tascam 8 track recorder under $90, or a reel to reel 4 or 8 track, something simple. can be old if in good condition. let me know if you have anything that comes close, i am looking for something around $300 - 400.
i'll also consider going digital w/ a 16 track around 150, preferrably boss or something current from tascam w/ built in mixer.
also in need of:
decent headphones
large diaphragm compressor mic in mint condition, preferably new, something similar to MXL 2001-P around $100 (i will probably buy this new but thought i'd post anyway, just in case)
a small VOX amp or something similar
thanks!
