FS: 1969 Fender Champ Amp. AA674 circuit. Incredibly clean!!

Post by pedrohead » Mon Jan 26, 2009 5:47 pm

1969 Fender Champ 1x8" combo amp for sale, original AA674 circuit. First year for Silverface cosmetics (hence the "drip edge" around the border).

Everything on the amp is completely original other than the upgraded Jensen P8R Alnico speaker. Even has what look to be the original RCA blackplate tubes.

Amp is ridiculously clean. Looks like it's been sitting in a closet for the last 40 years. NO real tears in the tolex or grill, just some minor nicks.

Sounds great, just like a vintage Champ should.

Asking $350 + shipping. Check out my perfect eBay feedback as Pedrohead.

Email me with any questions. Thanks.

Someone buy this - I have an arsenal of amps, and my blackface vibrochamp seems to be the "go to" on most sessions. Fun easy amps to record.

Not trying to be a shill, I just love these things.

I completely agree with UXB. This is a great recording amp!!! Also a great live amp when mic'ed. I love using a ribbon on my Champ...some of the best tone I have ever got.

This is a very reasonable price too.

Love these amps. I have a Garnet Champ knock off that is perhaps the best amp I've ever used.
