WTB: 60's Ludwig floor tom

Post by AlexHerd » Wed Nov 25, 2009 12:41 pm

Hey all. So I'm putting together a 60's Ludwig kit from orphans and am now looking for a floor. Right now I have a 22" kick from '65 and a 13" tom from '68, not club dates, both in White Marine Pearl. So my ideal floor would be a non club date 16" in WMP. However, color is really not important to me in the long run... Also, I'm definitely not opposed to looking into club dates, fixer uppers, and 14" too. Really open to a lot right now, just so long as it sounds good. If you have anything you think I might be into, please get in contact with me. Thanks!

You should sniff around over at www.drumforum.org for a floor tom. 14's will sound awesome, but they are very rare and therefore pretty expensive.

Good luck!

Thanks. Got a post out there now and on the vintage drum forum too. Hopefully I find something...

Wanted to bump this... Sold my other kit, so now I'm serious about finding this floor... Thanks!
