Sytek MPX4A 4 channel mic pre, no Burr Browns. $675 shipped and no paypal fees. Pics available on request. The knobs have been replaced with some nice big chicken head style pointers. Looks classy and makes for easy recall.

I used to blow a lot of my student loan money on recording equipment too. Haha, those were the days. It took me a long time to pay all of that off, but it was worth it.
