FS: A pair of Revox M3500 mics...ON HOLD

Post by tonewoods » Mon Nov 19, 2012 3:05 pm

Hey all...

Up for sale is a pair of Revox M3500 mics, serial numbers 23320 and 23740...

Supposedly, these are built by Beyer for Revox, and are a re-badged M201, but I seem to be the only one out there who doesn't buy this...

I forget the details, but I contacted Beyer 15 years or so ago, who said that they did not build the M3500...

Whatever.

In any event, these are great mics, and have all sorts of uses...
Snares, room mics, guitars, amps, etc. etc.

They have the original boxes, clips, and freq charts...
I only have one Tuchel cable...
Just recorded snare tracks with both, and both work fine...

OK, I just checked Evilbay, and these go for between 140-225.00, mostly without the original boxes...

How about 300.00 for the pair...

As far as trades go, I'm looking for a good stereo spring reverb unit, old Tele parts, or what have you....

OK, thanks!
Bruce
