suggestion: 'the void'
hopefully this isn't dumb.
obviously, this is a message board about audio, and everything related, and all the users know (or pretend ) to know about it's various applications yadda yadda.
but, there's no where else to talk about things with the members and the people we casually/electronically know here that isn't audio related. i think our heads might yield some interesting takes or opinions on things happening here and there, or, well, just links and things, or, well, whatever.
it's the void, or, the forum-subgroup-that's-not-related-to-anything-specifically.
this way, i can waste more time specifically on this board, and not have to hop elsewhere to talk to people that i *really* don't value their opinions much at all.
most other boards have something like this in place.
i know the possibility of heated subjects and/or opinions may fly, but i think it can be a slight inherent risk (if you want to call it that). this is, after all, planet earth, and we're not necessarily all under the age of 14, and have to watch it if some topic comes up that might not work on the disney channel. i'm like, saying, discussing news, or the elections coming up, or how britney spears lost her kids or k fed's still a douchebag or something.
thoughts?
would this be too taxing or overwhelm the server?
ok. i'll stop now.
*edit* - i suppose, bring back 'off the cuff', is what i'm saying.

There used to be an off-topic section on this board. It was shut down. I don't think it's coming back.

you sure you can't say "boobs" man? everyone says "boobs" once in a while, why wouldn't you be allowed to say "boobs" when it's like such a natural thing, these..."boob" things. no?RefD wrote:i can't just go around saying "boobs" on message boards like when i was younger and always romping!

tho i prefer the term "boobies", really...seems, i dunno, a bit more friendly and cuddly to me.
but i do not DARE say "boobs" here!
that word has a somewhat sordid history in this place, you see.
