Bedroom recording for analysis and discussion

Hey,

I was wondering how well my bedroom recordings were coming out according to some other tape opppers. If you could check this out, I'd appreciate it.

It's a basic sketch for a song. No vocals yet. Beat and keyboards created in reason. Guitars (Japanese Mustang Imitation into a Fender Deluxe) into a 57 flush against the grill. That ran into a Yamaha PM-1000 with a treble and 2k midrange boost. From there, to my MOTU 828 at 24/44.1.

The guitars were panned left and right. A little DP4 pre-amp plugin for compression on both, and a little reverb.

Could use a bassline. But I was wondering how this sounded as a rough mix.

i like the beat....

bass would help out.... maybe some perc. too....
