Thanks for your comments. You are waaay to kind.

I try to approach each song a little differently.

I build all my beats and track all the scratch parts in ACID. When I get a working demo of the song I export all of it into Sonar. Here I'll laydown the keeper tracks. Since most of the songs foundation is already done, I have more time to be creative, fill in holes, work on performance, etc. I usually have all the vocal melodies and lyrics completed before I export, it works pretty good for me.
