I've been writing and demo-ing a lot for my new band, but some of the songs that don't fit seem to be taking on a life of their own. I've put a little website together where i'll be putting some of these leftover songs.
I record demos on an MD8 but I run everything through an old TOA mixing board first. I have one of those cheap Oktava mic's, a dinky little dbx compressor and a Pod.

I like the percussion and the clean guitar tone. Is everytihing recorded with the Octava? The tones are nice. Should be in a Wes Anderson movie.

I used the Oktava for the vocals and percussion, but all the guitars are Pod. If you see Wes, tell him i'm availabale for soundtrack work!
