If you can get it, a whiff of Vasopressin (brand name: Diapid) kills off all sorts of substance induced hangovers and the associated mental dullness.

Available over the counter in other countries, but not the US...

bong hit,
then a beer,
then a gallon of water,
the walk down the the street for a
open face tofu sandwich at the globe cafe. take it to go cause the globe "atmosphere" is hell while hung over.

or a can of black label with a shot of whiskey along with coffee and veggie browns at Linda's.

I am a pro. trust me.

A lot of this shit people are talking about does not work.

Alcohol steals minerals from your body, and water of course. A hangover is mostly your body responding to a lack of minerals.

A good mineral complex will do wonders (not found in most vitamins, you have to get the good shit); also water, a cat and sleep.

If you're sober enough to remember it, take a B vitamin supplement before you pass out. You'll feel better when you wake up.

A major part of a hangover is dehydration. That why your head and everything hurts. What the best cure for dehydration....tons of water. Like 27 gallons. :) At lease t what I do before I fall asleep aka passout. Take 2 asprin, and drink 2 huge glasses of water. This has saved me from many hangovers.

Exactly. My latest stepdad turned me on to "Super-B Complex"vitamins, and they are the real deal. They became a tour staple, and saved our asses many a time. I'd just eat a good meal before the heavy drinking, and pop like 4 of them throughout the night. That, plus water before passing out, and a healthy poop in the morning and you should be closer to alright.

Emergen-C

some weird packet of crushed up multi-vitamins. Its 1000% Vitamin C
and 500% B12... at first I thought they were some truck-stop diet pill/speed thing, they aren't, but got addicted anyway ...comes in raspberry and lemon-lime. and others. really tasty... fizzy. refreshing. good if you eat poorly, does the trick for hangovers. . they sell it everywhere in new orleans. go figure.

I've heard that an IV of normal saline is good for most folks. It's a very fast way to get fluid in. ER's hook drunks up on IV's with potassium.

1. Eat something before you go to bed.
2. When you wake up at 5am to take a leak, pop an Aleve and drink as much water as you can.
3. When you wake, eat a very greasy breakfast with lots of protein (protein is good for soft tissue=brain). I prefer a meatless breakfast, but mix it up if you like.
4. Take a shower and brush your teeth - this helps tremendously
5. Smoke some sticky
6. Watch Big Lebowski

So your liver doesn't crawl up and slap you while you are sleeping, ignore all the posts instructing you to take aprin, aleve, etc. before bed. Don't even take it in the morning. Alchohol damages the liver. Asprin, Aleve, Tylonal (sp?), etc. damage the liver. Ever read the warning lable? "If you consume more then 3 alchoholic beverages a day...".

You just gave your liver a beating with the juice, it's not wise to kick it while it's down.
