12/22 Snowing in Ohio / Kentucky / West Virginia?

If you're from there, how bad is it snowing? I'm going to drive from Illinois back home to Virginia, and was hoping to start tonight.

Last I heard we were at a level 2 snow emergency ... whatever that means.

21 or 22 inches right now here in southern Illinois. And still coming down extremely hard. According to the Weather Channel we should end up with right about 2 feet. Which is pretty much where it's at now...only the weather advisory keeps going until 6 am tomorrow.

Crap. Now I wonder if I can make the little drive up to Columbus from Cinci tomorrow morning. I have a very important drinking appointment in the afternoon.

The sheriff, around 4 pm, closed off all roads in my county to anyone other than emergency vehicles. This is the biggest snow we've had since....1989, I believe.

That's crazy, cause here in WV (atleast my part of it) there is no snow and it's like 40 something degrees.

well, i'm in town visiting family in toledo and decided on tuesday to rent a car and visit some friends in cincinnati for a day. 3 hour drive. i left to come back here yesterday around 1pm. 6 and 1/2 hour drive. possibly the worst conditions i've ever driven in, my little ford focus was sliding all over the road.

worst part: smug motherfuckers in SUVs blowing by me most of the way home. oh, how i wanted to see them in a ditch 2 miles up the road.

Such a strange way the world works. It's 78 in Miami. High is supposed to be 83, the low tonight could be 70. The humidity is horrible right now. I have the air conditioner running in the apartment. Want to share the snow?!
