Ibanez AD230 delay insides

Post by pulse_divider » Tue Nov 24, 2009 9:23 am

Hi,
I just scored an Ibanez AD230 off CL yesterday and opened it up and took pictures of the insides. I posted them at

just in case anyone wants to see what one looks like. It has 18 MN3004 chips, companding and transformer I/O.
EDIT: If this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it. I tend to think of this as the "innards" forum...

wow. that's a lot of components for a delay unit.

this week, i found an ibanez ue405 multieffects unit dumped on the street. it was missing the foot pedal, without which it won't work. i made my own switch box. sounds fantastic.
