The Ginger Baker movie is up on Netflix now for those of you (us) to whom easy access makes a difference.
I have some issues with the film but its definitely worth watching.

agree its worth watching. I'm not really sure what to think of it. it has elements of Jerry Springer. and sometimes I felt sorry for GB cause he seems kind of tortured. yet in other interviews he doesn't so much. I think he has a pretty good idea of what sells and when to turn it on/off.

he definitely seems tortured, but he also seems like a real first-class jerk. i found him completely unlikable, and i don't care for his playing either.
for perspective, watch this and the levon helm doc back to back.

I saw it and it was pretty brutal, but well made.
I think Ginger's line from one of the ads says it best:
God is punishing me for my past wickedness by keeping me alive and in as much pain as he can.
Perfect narcissist comment.
Fucker broke down some walls though.
