first let me say i really really like the
matrix movies, even the second one
which some people didnt dig as much

i saw it a week or two ago in an altered
state but i remember that the aeon flux
guy's version of the story was just like
aeon flux not really matrix
the best one was the gritty "big sleep"
influenced b/w story of trinity.

the first one I watched (the one that
told of the machine revolution) was
great, but i kept thinking how it was
all derivative of the terminator movies
blade runner, and logans run
fifth element...oh and jonny neumonic.

but they really helped with filling in the
gaps of the story.
oh yeah the haunted play spot was
my second favorite.
i need to watch them again

Is this the same bunch of Animatrix shorts you're talking about?

http://www.intothematrix.com/

If so, then these are free to view, if not, then they are still free, but different. It's one of those win/win situations.
