Interesting Article about USB2 versus FW400 here.
Anyone know how those PCMCIA Firewire extensions are supposed to work? As I read it CardBus has peak transfer rate of up to 132 MB a second where we're supposed to get 400mb\s out of 1394a Firewire. Sounds like your FW devices are going to bog down the minute it hits the CardBus.
Am I wrong?
