Post by lilcapn » Wed Jul 02, 2003 4:09 pm

i'm using a PC laptop, looking for decent sounding fx and the like, can't afford an expensive software bundle right now -- any suggestions of places to hunt?

If you find a good software package that hosts plug-in's such as VST or AU,
check out these guys:

Try looking for the MDA plug-ins. They have a sweet amp simulator and some crazy cool stuff like ring modulators and stuff. Very stable and easy to use, ditect-X I think.

EDIT: Here's the link: http://www.mda-vst.com/
And it's actually VST plug-ins.

What's your software?

You can do a google search for free vst effects or free vst fx. There's a ton of stuff out there.
