Chicago Burbs home studio

Post by sheridanrock » Fri Jun 11, 2004 7:46 am

Some friends/ band members and I set up a digital 16 track recording studio in our Chicago Heights home. We have a pretty good sized basement
to work in with a several rooms to record in. My Freind Mark has a degree in sound Eng. I myself am learning from him. Here is a quick run down on gear:
Tascam M-320 20 channel mixer.
Allen Heath mix wizard 16 chan. mixer.
Two Tascam DA-38's
Rack processing: compression, limiting, gate, effects.
Mics: Shure, Sennheiser, Electrovoice, AKG, Blue.
We also have a house drum kit, both vintage and modern, Fender, Marshall, and Yamaha (saldano) amps.
We also have lots of effect pedals again both modern and vintage.
We are working on pricing but I'd estimate around $25 an hour but prices may change as we figure things out.

As of right now no we do not. We all play in the same band. When we get the band website up we will include some more gear listings as well as some studio photos. I'll post a link as soon as it is up and ready. Is anyone out there good at building websites who can help or point me in the right direction?
