Will Sound Forge display more than two tracks for editing?

Post by Old-Draftsman » Thu Jan 27, 2005 9:43 am

I have the RME 9652 card and I don't like cubase or cakewalk products.

So far I cannot find an answer to this one specific question.

Anyone have the answer for this non computer literate tired old fart?

No.

Two track editor only. You can mix files together, but it's not a multitrack tool. For that, you need Sonic Foundry's Vegas.

Cool Edit Pro does multitracking, I have been told, but I haven't used it in ~5 years.

Steinberg Wavelab is both 2 track and multitrack.

If you aren't computer literate, you might like Sonic Foundrys(now Sony) Acid. Its pretty intuitive, and can help you make music quick.
