Closet Find -- 1964 Harmony Stratotone Mars, H-45. This guitar was made by Harmony but sold through the Alden's Dept Store (no Harmony markings). Made like a Danelectro, it is masonite, hollow but has no soundholes. That and the slab pickup give it a cool, very old-blues sound. There are no scratches, no fretwear, nothing to indicate it was ever played. The case likewise is just like it came from the store. I've changed the strings - that's it. I'm pretty sure they were original as well. It has a floating adjustable rosewood bridge and a trapeze tailpiece. Les Paul shape, black with white bindings.
I posted this on craigslist.org, in the austin area. I'm taking offers and will post them there, as they come in
