I had a Fizmo for a few months. Incredibly powerful synth for the money. Sounddiver only partially works (you can create new sounds but can't really edit the presets). Also, because of the known problems I almost had a heartattack everytime I turned it on and got nervous if I had left it on too long. Honestly, it sounds like any other digital synth. It looks REALLY cool and has a mystique about it, but basically you could get the same sounds out of a microkorg (if you overdubbed), and you would never have to worry about reliability. Just my 2c.

The fizmo doesn't do anything the VFX couldn't do. If you really want a Transwave synth, get an ASR-10 or a TS series.
