Grundig GDM 305 7-pin connector?

Post by sonikbliss » Sun Feb 13, 2005 7:53 pm

I've got this old Grundig GDM 305 mic that has a cable attached that goes to a 7-pin connector (it looks alot like a MIDI connector actually). I think it is a 7-pin DIN connector but I'm not sure. If anybody knows how I can convert/adapt it to an XLR instead your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jason

There are all different kinds of din connectors, 5-pin 6 pin 11 pin etc.

Just find out what pins carry signal and what pins are ground. If you open up the mic and see where the wires connect to the pins it (should be) obvious.
