Yes. She rocks. She does a lot of her own stuff as well, and played on a band mate of mine's other record (tin hat trio). I play with Carla Kihlstedt in "the book of knots."

yeah - Zeena is truly an awesome musician - http://www.zeenaparkins.com

She's done a lot of work with Elliott Sharp's Carbon and was in an amazing band called No Safety that's record "Live At the Knitting Factory" is very highly recommended.

I play in a band called Don Caballero and it is pretty loop heavy music
I use the Akai Headrush and it works just fine for me
