i'm not sure if this belongs here or in people skills.

my question is sort of ergonomic and sort of political. my problem is that my studio has now spilt into the front hallway. so i'm wondering if people feel it would be totally obnoxious to make all non-musicians use the side entrance. so they don't trample through your studio.

I know plenty of people who do not use the "traditional" front door as their main entrance, for various reasons. It's your house, do what you think is best.

I would guess the 'non-musicians' are friends and family. They should be able to get over not using the main entrance once thay realize you're not treating them 'like the help."
