RNC f*&%ed up

Post by klute » Fri Nov 04, 2005 9:34 am

I had to replace the power supply for one of my rnc's. I bought one from Radio Shack that someone at RNC suggested. It worked a little but now the unit just makes an awful buzzing noise connected to the gain pot. When I use an original power supply from my other rnc, the same thing happens. Any insight?

Did you buy a 9VAC instead of a 9VDC?

(I've lost 2 wallwarts because I plugged in the wrong kind  )

Seriously, if you got a problem, FMR Audio will fix it if you ship it to them.

I had the same problem. You want a 9V AC to AC adapter, not DC. I got one for about $10 from www.mcmaster.com
