Video Card for G4

Post by retrograde » Tue Nov 08, 2005 7:18 am

I have an older G4 dual 500 running DP - My Radeon 9000 Pro AGP card crapped out. Can anyone suggest a good replacement from the newer models.

Thanks
Geoff

I got a newer radeon./// The 9800 I think... It has been rocking for a while now in a g4 450!!!

We are about to upgrade to a G5, woah. This G4 has served us well for 6 years (!) now...

The rnew graphics card really smoothed out the meters and counter in PT HD3...

Do 256 megs vs 128 give much bang for the buck using DAW software? Is ATI the preferred mfg or are other Radeon mfgs producing decent product?
