Studio Electronics SE-1 Analog Monosynth... the monster!

Post by Milkmansound » Tue Nov 01, 2005 7:12 pm

for sale, or trade. I am asking $800 for it. Its worth its weight in gold... but I never use it cause I have so many other synths that I use. Some pics:

the synth works perfectly, and still has almost all of the beloved SE presets on it (call me old fashioned, but I never really saved many of the sounds I generated on the thing)

So... I will entertain trades, cash, or maybe combos of both?

thanks. Many people wonder what the difference is between this and the newer SE-1X. Really, this is a steal at this price compared to the newer one, which is essentially the exact same thing in terms of the analog portion of the synth. They added more Rom and a new OS - but seriously, who needs it?

My friend is on tour right now with his band and he usually calls me to tell me how much fun he is having and to rub it in that he is on tour and I am not, the bastard. So I should hear from him soon.

well, on monday I will call Joel and see what he is interested in trading. If nothing pans out - have your friend contact me anyway.

selling this is probably a mistake - but with so many other synths in my tiny little space something has to go.

ok - $700 shipped!!!! Deal of the century!!!!

please. I need to get a pedal steel and start playing immediately and this synth is the pedal steels meal ticket.

seriously, this thing will make your neighbors run for the bathroom with its huge fat bass. The leads are sick too - its as close to a minimoog as you can get - and at this price... well, I am not gonna say more. Someone just buy this f-ing synth already!
