workshop: reverb

Post by Girl Toes » Tue Nov 01, 2005 7:18 am

The compressor workshop was fun. A reverb/spring reverb work shop could be funner. They had one at AES last month, but it was real early in the morning and I missed it.

I think an effects workshop would be good.

EQ

Post by bantam » Wed Nov 09, 2005 9:02 am

i would go just to be able to build a usable EQ. It seems to be absent from
the diy/bang for the buck market.

RNEQ?

You mentioned that there isa lack of useable diy eqs.
Thought you might be interested in these DIY eq projects: calrec and pultec eqs.

no not yet. I've just ordered most of the parts. Still wondering if I should really go the pcb route or point to point wire them. I don't know how long it will take to make the pcbs and if it'll be more expensive than the point to point route. I have a hunch the pcbs may exhibit less interference problems than I might have with wire...but not sure.

Oppinions on this issue would be appreciated.
