Indie/Electro/Ambient recording

Post by musicforscenery » Fri Nov 04, 2005 10:40 am

hey. i posted some time ago asking for advice about some track mixes. so now that the board is back up, i thought i'd let anyone that's interested know, the record is finished.

have a listen to one of the songs here, and opinions are welcome.

Man, the only genre that gets less response than hip-hop is electronica, apparently =)

Sounds good - the celeste sound and guitar notes on the 1st of every measure sound a little loud - they're overwhelming the singer a little.

Nice singing and nice song, though. Excellent vibe.

i believe what you're referring to is the rhodes track. agreed. in hindsight, we probably should have brought the vocals up a bit in the mix.

thanks! i appreciate it.

Nice mood and groove.

I like it. Though probably right as mentioned - vocals maybe up a bit in the mix.

BTW - your CD Baby link seems to be broken on your website.
