I just mixed a tune, and I need to say I really only like three things in mine. while these units have always done there job well, and have served me well in my travels..

Every time I would patch into a dbx whatever compressor, it sounded like shit compared to my favorite (610 complimiter)

my cheap lexicon reverb sounds like a tin can, and my 1982 digital Yamaha reverb sounds like a DC-3

Its almost like pro tools LE in OS9 when you had 847 cracked plugins, and most of them sucked

makes me want to sell 1/2 my gear to buy one box that I really really like, insted of having a lot of suck choices.
