Is this possible ? (Mac question)

Post by Trem2 » Sun Nov 27, 2005 10:10 am

I have a PowerMac G4 desktop that I run ProTools LE on.

I'd like to get an iBook so that I can edit my tracks in some place other than my studio. I get burned out from being parked in my studio chair all day.

My question is- would this be as simple as just buying an ibook and installing my PTLE software onto it ?

I guess I'm worried that the newer operating system will not work well with PTLE. I use version 9.2 on my desktop and it works flawlessly.

I am a neanderthal when it comes to computers so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

With PT, you must have some sort of Digidesign hardware attached to use the software at all. This would mean an mbox or something.
