If a film producer and/or composer wanted to score a film using 40+ musicians, where could they record it NYC? Besides Right Track and Avatar, what other studios have the capability of recording such a large group of people?
Looking forward to your feedback! Thanks! |

I'd recommend Clinton Recording, KAS (mentioned elsewhere), and the Manhattan Center. All have recorded symphony orchestras and could easily accomodate 40 musicians. They probably will be a little cheaper than Right Track and Avatar but no promises.
There is a website that has a directory of every recording studio in New York with links to their websites and you can find all of the studios mentioned there.
It's http://www.newyorkmusician.com and you just go to the Recording Studio page. The site is free and requires no registration and I think you will find it very helpful
Hope this helps. |
