Man, so much great stuff from this guy. The career highlight would have to be Shaming of the True, but check out The Kaviar Sessions. Brutal, dark, funny stuff. He also did some of the coolest covers I've ever heard. Yes' "Siberian Khatru", Genesis' "Back in NYC", and a hilarous Euro-dance-club style remake of Sheryl Crow's "Strong Enough" (which he co-wrote, as he did a lot of the Tuesday Night Music Club album).

He died in 1996 in a rather embarrassing way, so what's out there is all we're ever going to hear.

What a loss. Brilliant guy, he was. I've heard bits and pieces of his solo stuff, but should probably try to track down more of it.
