Damn damn damn damn if Patsy's voice isn't the greatest damn damn thing ever. How artfully all of the many elements-tone, open singing, closed, more nasal, lilting, breaking up etc. are used. With rock solid pitch and the beautiful tone. Just way better than all of the other greats.

A friend of mine (a few years back) had a $15,000 stereo system and played the vinyl of Patsy Cline, specifically "Crazy" and my jaw was on the floor. He had his set-up tuned so perfectly to the room that all the old recordings he played for me on vinyl were amazing... but specifically Patsy Cline, CCR, Buddy Holly, John Williams (Star Wars), Hendrix, The Beach Boys, Stray Cats, and more....

What started as a "friendly hang-out" turned out to be hours of vinyl/stereo worship.
