Am I the only one who found the Les Paul article a tough read?



I'm going to give it another go but I found myself getting lost....

i haven't gotten the issue yet, but is les paul still taking credit for 'inventing' multitrack recording?

There isn't a lot of backrund in the article. I'd suggest reading just a small bio of the man...

-played guitar for bing crosby
-invented the solid body electric guitar, harmonica holder, delay and multi tracking (ON DISC!)
-Got in a car accident in the 40s, and almost had to have his hand amputated. Instead, he convinced doctors to put a rod in his arm so it would just be stuck in guitar playing position. Its been that way for 60 years now!!
