songs by horsemachine

Hi, here are some songs I recorded in my little studio on my Tascam 38. I do a stereo mixdown onto my computer and sometimes I add more tracks in Cubase. These are off my record called Voice of Pilots that I may be having pressed in the next 6 months or so, if everything works out. My website is poopfilter.com, thanks for listening! My songs can be pretty lo-fi sounding at times, which I think serves my songwriting well, but let me know what you think about the mixes, eq, or whatever else you're thinking.

Diamonds, Objects of Desire
Gandalf the Gray
You Told Me You Loved Me
Vampires and Snowtires
Gold and Pizza
Bear Attack
Wolf of the Sea
Voice of Pilots
The Eagle Rules the Sky
The Hottest Horse

The songs are awsome. I enjoyed all of them a lot. "Diamond, Objects of Desire" is my favorite one. It has a cool feel, but the mix is almost too wide for me. It seems as though something is missing in the center. It's purely taste though. Everythings sounds awsome.

This is some really great stuff. I'm only 2 songs in! I really love the lo-fi, I love the songwriting and arrangements. I also like your website. So much stuff to check out.

Really good stuff!

Gold and pizza sounded like morricone had written it for kubrick.

Very nice....indeed.

I love Gandalf the Gray. But Diamonds has to be my favorite.

Great work
